Company Ownership We are a small company owned and operated by x and y. x is the developer and designer of the products, and y manages the company as president. As co-owners x and y jointly develop business strategy and long-term plans. The president is responsible for overall business management. Our managers of finance, marketing, and sales report directly to her. She is strong on product know-how and technology. She had a successful career in retail before becoming half owner of the company. She was an area manager , a buyer , and merchandising assistant for another companies She has a degree in Management. The designer, is responsible for product design and development, assembly, and manufacturing. Our workshop manager reports directly to her. She designed furniture before becoming half owner of this company . Also, she was responsible for one of the first executive desks designed to include customised fittings for furniture. She has an degree in Industrial Design. 2.2.Personnel For the beginning, we need a marketing manager to occupy of national catalogue production and catalogue advertising. We will have one or two designers and 2-3 carpenters. This table shows salaries for the whole company. Salary increases are kept to a minimum to help the growth of the company. An administrative assistant will be hired later in the year. As we grow, we expect to see steady increases in our personnel to match the increases in sales.
